Superbe monnaie sur un flan relativement large, mais ébréché en bord de flan. Belle frappe sur le buste à l’avers, mais avec un plat de frappe sur la zone devant le visage. Revers de frappe vigoureuse, mais décentrée sur un flan un peu trop court. Bel or avec une agréable patine

La légende VCT(...) du droit est habituellement au revers autour d’une victoire, pour VICTORIA AVG(...).
Ce triens semble postérieur aux imitations à la victoire. Le style de tête assocé à ce revers ne permet pas de proposer une atribution précise.
Aucune légende A(...)GAV ne figure dans les listes du Belfort, ce qui rend difficile toute attribution précise à un monétaire ou à un atelier.
The legend VCT(...) on the obverse is usually on the reverse around a victory, for VICTORIA AVG(...). This triens seems to be later than the imitations of the victory. The head style associated with this reverse does not allow for a precise attribution. No legend A(...)GAV appears in the Belfort lists, which makes any precise attribution to a mint or a workshop difficult.
