Médaille conservée dans un étui noir de la Monnaie de Paris et avec son certificat de garantie.
Décernée à Sébastien Jallaud, né en 1992 à Paris, co-fondateur en 2016 des Éditions Ismael, un projet éditorial et archivistique indépendant à but non lucratif, il se consacre à l’exploration théorique et pratique des discours, notamment dans leurs rapports au littéraire, par le moyen de différentes approches au nombre desquelles l’édition, la traduction poétique (persan, portugais, anglais), l’histoire et la théorie critique. Il gagne le prix Jules Janin en 2025 pour sa traduction de La Chouette aveugle, de Sâdeq Hedâyat.
The medal is kept in a black case from the Monnaie de Paris (Paris Mint) and comes with its certificate of authenticity. Awarded to Sébastien Jallaud, born in 1992 in Paris, co-founder in 2016 of Éditions Ismael, an independent, non-profit publishing and archival project, he is dedicated to the theoretical and practical exploration of discourse, particularly in its relationship to literature, through various approaches including editing, poetic translation (Persian, Portuguese, English), history, and critical theory. He won the Jules Janin Prize in 2025 for his translation of The Blind Owl by Sâdeq Hedâyat

The Fifth Republic, whose constitution was approved by referendum on September 28, 1958 by more than 79% of French people, only officially began with the installation of General de Gaulle as president on January 8, 1959.
