La médaille est conservée dans sa boîte bleue de la Monnaie de Paris
Le château fut reconstruit au XVIe siècle par le Trésorier des Finances Jean Cottereau, et acquis en 1674 par Louis XIV qui l’érigea en marquisat pour Françoise d’Aubigné. Le château est de style Renaissance, à l’exception de la tour d’angle en brique datant du XIVe siècle.
The medal is kept in its blue box at the Paris Mint. The castle was rebuilt in the 16th century by the Treasurer of Finance Jean Cottereau, and acquired in 1674 by Louis XIV who made it a marquisate for Françoise d'Aubigné. The castle is Renaissance in style, with the exception of the brick corner tower dating from the 14th century.
