Аверс: описание: Profil de l’effigie du roi Ramsès II de la XIX° dynastie, d’après la statue du colosse Sud de la façade du grand temple d’Abou Simbel. Dans le champ, à gauche, une reproduction d'hiéroglyphes signifiant « Fils de Ré, le dieu parfait» et sur deux cartouches, le nom de naissance à gauche (RAMESSOU IMEN MERY le dieu Ré l'a enfanté, l'aimé du dieu Amon) et le nom de couronnement à droite (OUSER MAAT RE SETEP EN RE - Ré est puissant de vérité. Il est l'élu de Ré). Signé : DOUEK.

The Fifth Republic, whose constitution was approved by referendum on September 28, 1958 by more than 79% of French people, only officially began with the installation of General de Gaulle as president on January 8, 1959.
