Exemplaire sur un flan épais, parfaitement centré des deux côtés. Portrait exceptionnel de toute beauté rarement rencontré avec la tête nue et un buste ornementé. Revers de style fin et détaillé. Patine marron foncé

Комментарий

Buste consulaire exceptionnel ou buste divinisé primitif. De la plus insigne rareté. Nous n’avons pas de buste de ce type recensé ou répertorié. Nous sommes en présence d’un buste très particulier avec une étoffe ornée, une épaulière orné d’une palmette et des ptéryges décorés qui font penser à la toga picta et à la toga palmata. Cassure de coin perceptible dans la légende au droit dans le A de Constantio et au revers au niveau du N de CONSECRATIO.
Exceptional consular bust or primitive deified bust. Of the utmost rarity. We have no bust of this type recorded or listed. We are in the presence of a very particular bust with an ornate fabric, a shoulder guard adorned with a palmette and decorated pteryges which are reminiscent of the toga picta and the toga palmata. Corner break visible in the legend on the obverse in the A of Constantio and on the reverse at the level of the N of CONSECRATIO
