Exemplaire sur un petit flan bien centré. Faiblesse de frappe sur le buste de Constans. Très joli revers de style fin. Patine marron foncé

Poids léger. Rubans de type 3. Ptéryges à peine visibles sous le paludamentum. Première émission pour le nouveau césar nommé à la Noël 333. Semble beaucoup plus rare que ne le laissent supposer les ouvrages généraux pour le dernier fils de Constantin.

Caesar
Constans was born in 320 and received the title of Caesar on December 25, 333. Made Augustus after September 9, 337 with his two other brothers, Constantine II and Constantius II, he soon became angry with his older brother who died in April 340 After the death of his brother, Constans recovers the inheritance of Constantine II and takes charge of the West.
