Exemplaire sur un petit flan bien centré des deux côtés. Très beau portrait. Joli revers de style fin où tous les détails sont visibles. Patine gris métalliques avec des reflets mordorés. Conserve une partie de son brillant de frappe et de son coupant d’origine

Casque orné d’un fleuron. Couvre nuque lisse. Cuirasse et épaulière cloutées. Ptéryges larges. Légende de revers raccourcie. Globe décoré.

Caesar
Born in February 317 according to the most recent chronology, Constantine the Younger receives on coins the title of Caesar like his half-brother Crispus and his cousin Licinius, as well as the title of Prince of Youth. Constantine II is the eldest son of Constantine I and Fausta. In September 337, he received the "pars occidentalis" from the Empire with subjection to his brother Constans, Constantius II having the "pars orientalis". Very quickly, Constantin and Constans fall out. The eldest is eliminated in April 340.
