Exemplaire sur un flan large bien centré des deux côtés, en particulier au droit sur Pégase, bien venu à la frappe, finement détaillé. Très joli revers avec une Athéna élégante. Le symbole, Artémis est de style fin et bien venu à la frappe. Très belle patine de collection ancienne avec des reflets mordorés

CORINTHIA - CORINTH

(350-306 BC)

Corinth was the unwitting victim of Macedonian hegemony over Asia from Alexander the Great because it then lost its strategic role. Ptolemy I occupied it from 308 to 306 BC, which marks the date of the end of the manufacture of "colts". It joined the Achaean league after 268 BC, but the city was razed by Lucius Memmius in 146 BC for opposing Rome.
