Potin complet et régulier avec un revers un tout petit peu plu mou que le droit. Agréable patine sombre avec une concrétion superficielle, couleur rouille, au droit autour des globules

(2nd - 1st century BC)

The Leuques are mentioned only once in the Gallic Wars. Their neighbors were the Médiomatriques, the Lingons and the Séquanes. The Leuques as well as the Séquanes and the Lingones provided Caesar with wheat when the Roman army stopped at Vesontio (Besançon) to refuel before facing the Germans of Ariovistus (58 BC). Caesar (BG. I, 40).
