Лицевая сторона

Аверс: легенда: ANÉPIGRAPHE.

Аверс: описание: Tête à gauche, œil de face très ovalisé ; oreille ; bouche et nez bouletés de deux points chacun ; collier de perles à la base du cou.

Реверс: легенда: ANÉPIGRAPHE.

Реверс: Описание: Croix bouletée au centre, formée de quatre cantons : un arc de cercle et son rayon perlé aux 1er et 2e cantons, une hache pleine et bouletée à gauche au 3e et un annelet pointé au 4e.

Комментарий

Les drachmes du type de Belvès ne sont déjà pas courantes, mais ce revers est très rare ; seul cinq exemplaires sont répertoriés ; celui-ci (= S. 219), celui de Lyon, les deux de la BN et un autre passé en vente (Burgan 28/09/91, n° 53). "L'arc de cercle et son rayon perlé", tel que le décrivait G. Savès, est simplifié en "ancre" par les auteurs du Moneta 28. Fait inhabituel, la tête du droit est contenue dans un grènetis. Les rayons de la croix du revers sont particulièrement épais !.
Drachmas of the Belvès type are already not common, but this reverse is very rare; only five examples are listed; this one (= S. 219), the one from Lyon, the two from the BN and another one that has been sold (Burgan 28/09/91, no. 53). \\\"The arc of a circle and its pearled ray\\\", as described by G. Savès, is simplified to \\\"anchor\\\" by the authors of Moneta 28. Unusually, the head of the obverse is contained in a beading. The rays of the cross on the reverse are particularly thick!
