La Porte de Brandebourg est un arc de triomphe érigé entre 1788 et 1791 à Berlin en l’honneur du roi de Prusse Frédéric-Guillaume II. De style néoclassique s’inspirant du Propylée de l’Acropole surmonté par un quadrige conduit par la déesse de la Victoire.
The Brandenburg Gate is a triumphal arch erected between 1788 and 1791 in Berlin in honor of the Prussian King Frederick William II. It is Neoclassical in style, inspired by the Propylaea on the Acropolis, surmounted by a quadriga led by the goddess of Victory.
