Exemplaire sur un flan ovale et irrégulier, bien centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis complets. Beau portrait juvénile de Géta. Revers de style fin. Très belle patine de collection ancienne avec des reflets gris foncé

Caesar

Born on May 26, 189, Geta became Caesar in 198 and received the title of pontifex the following year. He accompanies his father and his brother to Brittany from 208 and is raised to Augustat the following year. When Septimius Severus died in York on February 4, 211, the two brothers brought their father's ashes back to Rome and became co-emperors. But they hate each other. Finally, after a year of joint rule, Caracalla kills his brother in their mother's arms. Geta is dedicated to "damnatio memoriæ" (damnation of memory). His supporters are systematically massacred.
