Exemplaire sur un flan large, mince et irrégulier légèrement éclaté à 10 heures. Beau portrait. Joli revers, légèrement tréflé. Très belle patine vert olive foncé, un peu granuleuse

Gordian III is the grandson of Gordian I and the nephew of Gordian II, ephemeral emperors of the year 238. At the request of the people of Rome, he is chosen as Caesar by Balbin and Pupian and succeeds them after their assassinations.
