Exemplaire sur un flan très large et irrégulier, parfaitement centré des deux côtés. Très beau portrait de haut relief, légèrement tréflé. Joli revers avec une petite faiblesse de frappe sur la Joie. Belle patine vert foncé lissée

Gordian III is the grandson of Gordian I and the nephew of Gordian II, ephemeral emperors of the year 238. At the request of the people of Rome, he is chosen as Caesar by Balbin and Pupian and succeeds them after their assassinations.
