Cet exemplaire est d’un style proche du bmv_306978. Ces imitations wisigothique des monnaies des empereurs régnant à Byzance sont souvent difficiles à classer avec des légendes dégénérées, et des styles variés.

During this period, still poorly defined, many triens imitating the Byzantine coins of Justinian were minted. The strikes are first quite close to the prototypes, then escalate. They are imitated in the Frankish kingdoms of Burgundy. The imperial titulature there is very quickly altered. The qualifier "lost loop" which characterizes the ribbon of the tiara has become common to designate these coins.
