Ce type s'apparente également aux potins au sanglier et à la tête humaine de face au revers, attribué précédemment aux Leuques et aujourd'hui classés aux monnaies incertaines de la Seine Moyenne.

GALLIA BELGICA - LEUCI (Area of Toul)
(2nd - 1st century BC)
The Leuques are mentioned only once in the Gallic Wars. Their neighbors were the Médiomatriques, the Lingons and the Séquanes. The Leuques as well as the Séquanes and the Lingones provided Caesar with wheat when the Roman army stopped at Vesontio (Besançon) to refuel before facing the Germans of Ariovistus (58 BC).
