Superbe potin présentant un très beau droit et jolie patine foncée

Аверс: описание: Tête ceinte d’un bandeau à gauche, la chevelure indiquée par trois mèches, le cou par deux petits traits qui se retrouvent au sommet du bandeau sur le jet de coulée.

(2nd - 1st century BC)
The Leuques are mentioned only once in the Gallic Wars. Their neighbors were the Médiomatriques, the Lingons and the Séquanes. The Leuques as well as the Séquanes and the Lingones provided Caesar with wheat when the Roman army stopped at Vesontio (Besançon) to refuel before facing the Germans of Ariovistus (58 BC). Caesar (BG. I, 40).
