Exemplaire sur un flan large et ovale, très irrégulier avec les grènetis complets. Très beau portrait de Plautille. Joli revers, de frappe un peu molle. Jolie patine de collection ancienne avec des reflets dorés

Реверс: Описание: Pietas (la Piété) ou Plautille drapée, debout à droite, tenant un sceptre long de la main droite et un bébé de la main gauche.

Реверс: перевод: “Pietas Augustorum”, (La Piété des augustes).

Augusta

Plautille is the daughter of Plautien, prefect of the Praetorium, friend and confidant of Septimius Severus. Caracalla married the daughter of the Prefect of the Praetorium in 202 at the request of her father. Caracalla doesn't get along with his wife. Plautian is eliminated by Septimius Severus in 205 and Plautille relegated to the Lipari Islands where she is finally assassinated in 212.
