Decimus Junius Brutus is the son of Decimus Junius Brutus, consul in 77 BC. -VS. He is adopted by Aulus Postumius Albinus and changes his name to Decimus Postumius Albinus. He first served under the orders of Caesar in Gaul, in particular against Vercingetorix in 52 BC.. -VS. He commands the fleet in charge of the blockade of Marseilles in 49 BC.. -VS. He remained in Gaul until 45 BC.. -VS. with the government of Transalpine. He is promised the Cisalpine government with the praetorship for 44 BC. -VS. and the consulate for 42 BC. -VS. Decimus Postumius Albinus joins the Cisalpine in order to raise an army for the benefit of the senate. He finds himself locked up in Mutina and blocked by Marc Antoine.
