Magnifique fibule, parfaite d’apparence, mais avec l’ardillon cassé à 18 mm de sa charnière. Très agréable patine verte et brillante

Bien que n’étant pas une rouelle, tel que nous l’entendons, ce type de fibule gallo-romaine montre l’intérêt porté à ce symbole solaire qu’était la rouelle !
Cet exemplaire a un moyeu central plein et orné d’un bouton très en relief, comme sur certaines rouelles en bronze et en potin à 4, 6 ou 8 rayons.
