Комментарий

Un édit du 15 octobre 1794 substitue à l’ancien système duodécimal un système décimal. L’écu appelé “Genevoise” remplace le florin. Sont frappées des monnaies en argent de 1/2 Décime (5 Centimes), 1 Décime (10 Centimes) et 1 Genevoise. Ce système est abandonné dès 1795.
An edict of October 15, 1794 replaced the old duodecimal system with a decimal system. The ecu called “Genevoise” replaced the florin. Silver coins of 1/2 Décime (5 Centimes), 1 Décime (10 Centimes) and 1 Genevoise were minted. This system was abandoned in 1795.
