Аверс: описание: Buste diadémé, drapé et cuirassé de Valentinien II à droite vu de trois quarts en avant (A’a).

Аверс: перевод: “Dominus Noster Valentinianus Pius Felix Augustus”, (Notre seigneur Valentinien pieux heureux auguste).

Реверс: Описание: Rome casquée et drapée assise à gauche sur une cuirasse, tenant une victoriola de la main droite et une haste renversée de la main gauche.

Реверс: перевод: “Victoria Augustorum”, (la Victoire de nos trois augustes).

Комментарий

Rubans convergents : rubans descendant verticalement le long de la nuque (type 3). Le diadème se termine par un bijou sans cabochon visible. Les ptéryges ne sont pas visibles sous le paludamentum. Fibule d’attache sur l’épaule. Au revers, nous avons une haste renversée et Rome est assise sur une cuirasse. L’exemplaire de MONNAIES XXVII, n° 499 s’est vendu 480 € sur une offre maximum à 988 €.
Converging ribbons: ribbons descending vertically along the nape of the neck (type 3). The diadem ends with a jewel without a visible cabochon. The pteryges are not visible under the paludamentum. Attachment fibula on the shoulder. On the reverse, we have an inverted spear and Rome is seated on a cuirass. The copy of COINS XXVII, no. 499 sold for €480 on a maximum bid of €988
