Variante avec la légende REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE en caractères fins et parfois à peine visibles. Particulièrement difficile à trouver en Superbe et au-dessus, les boîtes FDC de l’année étant au type normal. On peut penser que cette variante précède le type normal, particulièrement à l’étude des pré-séries de la Collection Pierre, MONNAIES 30. C’est le nouvel exemplaire de la Collection Idéale.

The Fifth Republic, whose constitution was approved by referendum on September 28, 1958 by more than 79% of French people, only officially began with the installation of General de Gaulle as president on January 8, 1959.
