Cet exemplaire semble très proche de celui illustré dans l’ouvrage de Guilloteau et de l’exemplaire illustré dans De Mey et Poindessault : on retrouve sur ces exemplaires le même centrage et une légère faiblesse de frappe caractéristique sur le quatrième quartier de l’écu du revers. Le droit de notre exemplaire est néanmoins plus détaillé notamment pour l’extrémité du bandeau, au niveau de l’épaule. Le défaut relevé au revers est en réalité une dépression apparue lors de la frappe et correspond à la zone de l’oreille, la plus en creux du coin de droit.
This example seems very close to the one illustrated in Guilloteau's work and to the example illustrated in De Mey and Poindessault: we find on these examples the same centering and a slight weakness of striking characteristic on the fourth quarter of the shield of the reverse. The obverse of our example is nevertheless more detailed notably for the end of the band, at the level of the shoulder. The defect noted on the reverse is in reality a depression appeared during the striking and corresponds to the area of the ear, the most hollow of the obverse corner
