Tranche B.
Edge B. example in 1815/4. We classify these strikes under the Second Restoration following an article by Xavier Bourbon and Stéphane Desrousseaux, published in Bulletin Numismatique n° 91, pages 4 to 7, which highlighted the probable existence of a matrix prepared in the form [different] 181_ [mint letter]. The 1815 coins with the \\\"pure\\\" vintage would most certainly have been struck at the beginning of the year and those of 1815/4 immediately after the return of the king in July 1815. This example is much more beautiful than the current Ideal Collection, but the traces of cleaning prevent us from grading this coin. Note the presence of die breaks on the obverse
