Ensemble de 3 plaques disposées en triptyque pour la célébration du centenaire de l’Algérie (1830-1930), commandé par le Commissariat général et édité à 700 exemplaires.
Plaque centrale : 56*116 mm (273,8 g)
Plaques latérales : 56*37,5 mm (71,9 g et 66,4 g)
La plaque centrale présente un ensemble de 10 personnages dont 2 enfants sur un fond boisé (palmier à gauche et arbre non défini à droite). Sur les plaques de moindre taille, on trouve deux hommes labourant le sol, et une femme cueillant des fruits accompagnée d’un jeune enfant et une seconde femme tenant un panier de fruits.
L’ensemble est conservé dans sa boîte en carton d’origine malheureusement abîmé.
Le triptyque est vendu avec la médaille célébrant également le centenaire de l’Algérie : à l’avers : deux hommes, marchant et portant une faux, paysage agricole à l’arrière plan; au revers : une légende en trois lignes GOUVERNEMENT GÉNÉRAL / DE / L’ALGÉRIE. Poids : 86,58g. Diamètre : 60 mm. Tranche lisse avec un poinçon triangulaire BRONZE.
Set of 3 plates arranged in a triptych for the celebration of the centenary of Algeria (1830-1930), commissioned by the General Commission and published in 700 examples. Central plate: 56*116 mm (273.8 g) Side plates: 56*37.5 mm (71.9 g and 66.4 g) The central plate presents a set of 10 characters including 2 children on a wooded background (palm tree on the left and undefined tree on the right). On the smaller plates, there are two men plowing the ground, and a woman picking fruit accompanied by a young child and a second woman holding a basket of fruit. The set is preserved in its original cardboard box, unfortunately damaged. The triptych is sold with the medal also celebrating the centenary of Algeria: on the obverse: two men, walking and carrying a scythe, agricultural landscape in the background; on the reverse: a three-line legend GOVERNMENT GENERAL / OF / ALGERIA.
