Ce type fut frappé entre 1911 et 1914 pour un total de 867.793 pièces soit près de 18 millions de marks or. Les pièces de 20 marks furent démonétisées le 16 août 1938, mais ne circulaient plus en fait depuis le début de la Première guerre mondiale.
This type was minted between 1911 and 1914 for a total of 867,793 coins, or nearly 18 million gold marks. The 20 mark coins were demonetized on August 16, 1938, but had not actually circulated since the start of the First World War.
