Ce double ducat est frappé sur un flan voilé, parfaitement centré de part et d’autre. La pièce présente un coup de lime sur la tranche, témoin d’une monture ancienne. L’exemplaire reste très agréable

Cette monnaie apparemment sans millésime présente un chronogramme au niveau de la légende du revers avec les lettres MDCC (1700), plus grosses que les autres. Elle fut frappée à l’occasion du changement de siècle comme l’indique la légende du droit.
This apparently undated coin has a chronogram on the reverse legend with the letters MDCC (1700), larger than the others. It was struck on the occasion of the change of century as indicated in the legend on the obverse.
