En 1844, cette exposition industrielle (en allemand Allgemeine Deutsche Gewerbe-Ausstellung) a eu lieu dans l'ancienne maison de l'arsenal, le Zeughaus de Berlin. Parmi 3040 entreprises d'exposition, il y avait 685 entreprises de Berlin montrant une grande variété de produits industriels allemands. L'exposition a reçu 260.000 visiteurs..
While this medal is easily found in bronze, it seems very rare in silver! In 1844, this industrial exhibition (in German Allgemeine Deutsche Gewerbe-Ausstellung) took place in the former arsenal house, the Zeughaus in Berlin. Among 3,040 exhibiting companies, there were 685 Berlin companies displaying a wide variety of German industrial products. The exhibition received 260,000 visitors.
