Tous les exemplaires publiés semblent avoir un annelet derrière la tête du monstre. Cet exemplaire n’a aucun ornement derrière la tête mais a bien un annelet pointé sous la tête ! La monnaie H800 illustrée par T. Abramson n’a pas d’ornement derrière la tête du monstre, mais globule perlé sous la tête ; cette série, pourtant rare, semble avoir une multitude de variantes.
La typologie du droit rappelle celle de certaines monnaies antiques, entre autres les monnaies reproduisant un bouclier ornée d’une tête de face....
All published examples seem to have a ringlet behind the monster's head. This example has no ornament behind the head but does have a pointed ringlet under the head! The H800 coin illustrated by T. Abramson has no ornament behind the monster's head, but a pearl globule under the head; this series, although rare, seems to have a multitude of variants. The obverse typology is reminiscent of that of certain ancient coins, including coins reproducing a shield decorated with a head facing forward...
