Ce type de droit avec le croissant principal doublé d’une ligne perlée ainsi que les deux petits segments horizontaux et un X devant la bouche, correspond à la variété F de la série E.
Nous n’avons retrouvé aucune monnaie de ce type avec les mêmes ornements au revers. Le revers du n° 222 d’Oxford s’en rapproche, mais avec les C tournés vers l'extérieur et pointés alors qu’ils sont tournés vers l'intérieur et ne sont pas pointé sur notre exemplaire.
Ce sceat correspond exactement au n° 241 d’Oxford, mais ce dernier a une autre variété de droit !.
This type of obverse, with the main crescent lined with a pearled line, as well as the two small horizontal segments and an X in front of the mouth, corresponds to the F variety of the E series. We have not found any coin of this type with the same ornaments on the reverse. The reverse of Oxford No. 222 is similar, but with the Cs turned outwards and pointed, whereas they are turned inwards and are not pointed on our example. This sceat corresponds exactly to Oxford No. 241, but the latter has a different obverse variety!
