ARCADIUS

Arcadius was born in 377. Proclaimed august by his father on January 19, 383, he inherited the East after the death of Theodosius I. In 402, Arcadius associates his son Theodosius II, born the previous year, and a falling out ensues with Honorius. Arcadius dies in 408, aged 30.
