Le médaillon du collier de l’ordre de Saint-Michel est remplacé par un O et la représentation est assez grossière. Il s’agit d’une imitation de Daniel Goffin d’un jeton de Louis XIII (Feuardent 12281). L’exemplaire de la collection Alain Tissière, MONNAIES XVII n° 2602, de qualité équivalente a réalisé 175 euros . L’examen de cette intéressante et rare série de jetons frappés à Sedan permet quelques constatations. D’une part, ces jetons sont d’un poids fantaisiste avec utilisation du laiton pour les flans. D’autre part on note aussi que l’axe est toujours à six heures avec des flans réguliers et de bon centrage lors de la frappe, il s’agit donc d’une production réalisée à l’aide d’un outillage mécanique (presse ou balancier). Le style est assez homogène, c’est celui de Daniel Goffin. Les étoiles à cinq rais sont la marque de cet atelier, on les trouve de façon récurrente mais non systématique dans les légendes, en signe initial, en motif au droit (autour de la fraise) ou au revers (autour de la couronne par exemple).

The copy from the Alain Tissière collection, MONNAIES XVII n° 2602, of equivalent quality, achieved 175 euros. The examination of this interesting and rare series of tokens struck in Sedan allows some observations. On the one hand, these tokens are of a fanciful weight with the use of brass for the blanks. On the other hand, we also note that the axis is always at six o'clock with regular blanks and good centering during striking, it is therefore a production carried out using mechanical tools (press or balance). The style is quite homogeneous, it is that of Daniel Goffin. The five-pointed stars are the mark of this workshop, they are found recurrently but not systematically in the legends, as an initial sign, as a motif on the obverse (around the strawberry) or on the reverse (around the crown for example)
