Ce denier présente un avers de même style que le Belfort 5658. Les ornement autour de la tête diffère entre les deux monnaie ; notre denier a un annelet pointé, une croisette, un second annelet pointé et une sorte de Y tandis que le B. 5658 a une croisette, quatre globules posés en losange, une lettre N et la suite d’une légende (hors flan).
Notre revers varie légèrement, avec une barre horizontale (comme sur le B. 5660) et non pas inclinée (comme sur les B. 5659 et 5669). Ce type de revers est représenté dans le trésor de Saint-Pierre-les-Etieux, avec le n° 81.
Bien qu’aucune attribution précise ne puisse être proposés, les provenances indiquent une appartenance à la région du Centre-Ouest.
This denier has an obverse in the same style as the Belfort 5658. The ornamentation around the head differs between the two coins; our denier has a pointed annulet, a cross, a second pointed annulet and a sort of Y while the B. 5658 has a cross, four globules placed in a diamond shape, a letter N and the continuation of a legend (off flan). Our reverse varies slightly, with a horizontal bar (as on the B. 5660) and not inclined (as on the B. 5659 and 5669). This type of reverse is represented in the treasure of Saint-Pierre-les-Etieux, with the n° 81. Although no precise attribution can be proposed, the provenances indicate belonging to the Centre-Ouest region
