Apollodotus is a contemporary of Antimachus I Theos (185-170 AC.), Antimachus II Nicephorus (160-155 AC.), Demetrios II (175-170 AC.) and Eucratides I (170-145 AC. ). Thanks to the coinage, we learn that Apollodote directly succeeds Agathocles (190-180 AC.) and Pantaleon (190-185 AC.).
