Exemplaire sur un flan ovale, parfaitement centré des deux côtés. Bouclier bien venu à la frappe. Joli revers. Une épaisse patine gris foncé de collection ancienne recouvre l’exemplaire

La facture du cratère et le fait qu’il ne soit pas surmonté d’un symbole nous pousse à penser qu’il doit appartenir à une série relativement ancienne. Un exemplaire de ce type se rencontre dans le trésor d’Atrax II découvert en 1970 en Thessalie enfoui vers 350 avant J.-C. Au droit, le coin semble légèrement bouché dans le champ inférieur gauche.
The craftsmanship of the krater and the fact that it is not surmounted by a symbol leads us to believe that it must belong to a relatively old series. A specimen of this type is found in the treasure of Atrax II discovered in 1970 in Thessaly, buried around 350 BC. On the obverse, the die seems slightly blocked in the lower left field
