Ce denier est frappé sur un flan régulier et échancré. La croix du droit apparaît légèrement en négatif au revers. Les reliefs des motifs centraux sont bien visibles

Celles-sur-Cher (Loir-et-Cher) depended on the counts of Blois. Robert I imitates the Bléso-Chartrain type from the deniers of Saint-Aignan. The S on the right and on the reverse are certainly the initials of Celles which is also written Selles.
