Boîte de production allemande avec mention sur une étiquette lacunaire : “Wang und Gewicht macht von ibro Churfürftl. Durchl. zu[...] gnädigft privil. examinirt. und gefchworne. Ichtmacher JOH.(ann) PET.(er) BRASELMA, auf Wichling- haufen in Oberbarmen. 178(4)”. Exemplaire présentant à l’intérieur quelques inscriptions à l’encre rouge, celles-ci indiquent l’emplacement des poids. Les poids, de forme carré (certains ont un bouton, d’autres non) sont d’origine avec 1 ducat (3,51g) et 2 ducats (7g), 2 exemplaires de demi carlin (4,91g et 4,90g) dont l’un présente une fleur de lis, 2 exemplaires de carlin (9,79g et 9,76g) dont l’un présente un lion, 1 pistol(e) (6,74g) présentant un lion en haut à droite, 2 exemplaires de 2 pistol(es) (13,51g et 13,53g) dont l’un est contremarqué d’un lion et l’autre d’un lis. Sous le petit couvercle, vous retrouverez trois fins losanges (lamelles) dont la pointe est pliée. La boîte, en bois sombre et fermée par une attache métallique, est quasi complète, peut-être manque t’il un poids (un poids pour la 1 pistole?)

The weights, square in shape (some have a button, others not) are original with 1 ducat (3.51g) and 2 ducats (7g), 2 examples of half carlin (4.91g and 4.90g) one of which has a fleur-de-lis, 2 examples of carlin (9.79g and 9.76g) one of which has a lion, 1 pistol(e) (6.74g) with a lion in the top right, 2 examples of 2 pistol(es) (13.51g and 13.53g) one of which is countermarked with a lion and the other with a lily. Under the small lid, you will find three thin lozenges (blades) with a folded tip. The box, made of dark wood and closed with a metal clip, is almost complete, perhaps a weight is missing (a weight for the 1 pistole?) Dimensions of the box: 65.5*128 mm
