Exemplaire sur un flan large et mince, légèrement décentré au revers. Droit tout à fait inhabituel avec de beaux portraits de Sauromates Ier et de sa femme. Frappe un peu molle au revers. Patine vert noir

Forme épigraphique inhabituelle au droit beaucoup plus rare avec la titulature complète du roi. C’est pour cette raison que ce type est attribué au début du règne de Sauromates Ier car on le retrouve associé avec cette légende la tête de Nerva (BMC. 1).
Unusual epigraphic form with the much rarer obverse with the full title of the king. It is for this reason that this type is attributed to the beginning of the reign of Sauromates I because it is found associated with this legend the head of Nerva (BMC. 1)
