Triens bien identifiable avec des types complets et des légendes bien venues. Le métal semble de bas aloi et le flan a malheureusement été perforé en trois endroits, probablement suite à une réutilisation de la monnaie en ornement décoratif

Комментарий

L’attribution à la Cenomanis civitas est évidente avec cette légende CENOMAN, mais le monétaire LEODVVA n’est pas recensé. Le seul monétaire LEOD(...) est attesté sur un triens de VELLAVVS (B. 6483), atelier identifié au Puy, au Vélay et à Saint-Paulien.
Un second exemplaire, rigoureusement identique, mais fourré est recensé dans notre base c’est le bmv_286622 qui est de mêmes coins de droit et de revers que cet exemplaire.
The attribution to the Cenomanis civitas is evident with this legend CENOMAN, but the coin LEODVVA is not recorded. The only coin LEOD(...) is attested on a triens of VELLAVVS (B. 6483), a workshop identified at Puy, Vélay and Saint-Paulien. A second example, rigorously identical, but filled is recorded in our database; it is the bmv_286622 which has the same obverse and reverse dies as this example.
