The Chamber of Accounts already existed in the time of the kings of Burgundy. In 1319, it settled down and became the second in the kingdom on the model of that of Paris. For its service, tokens were made from the beginning of the 15th century. The Chamber gains funds from the payment of spices and "refreshments".
