Réalisée pour le centenaire de l’Hotêl de Ville, en 1969, cette médaille est datée de 1973 sur la tranche.
En 1866, la ville ayant grandi, il fut décidé de la construction d'un nouvel hôtel de ville. C'est également à cette époque que Napoléon III fit restaurer, en partie sur sa cassette personnelle, l'église Saint-Pierre-Saint-Paul, abritant les tombeaux de ses mères et grand-mères, en piteux état..
Created for the centenary of the Hôtel de Ville in 1969, this medal is dated 1973 on the edge. In 1866, as the city grew, it was decided to build a new town hall. It was also at this time that Napoleon III had the Saint-Pierre-Saint-Paul church restored, partly from his personal funds, housing the tombs of his mothers and grandmothers, which were in a pitiful state.
