Guy-Charles Revol, né à Paris le 9 octobre 1912, mort en 1991, est un sculpteur, graveur et médailleur français. Il reçoit le second prix de Rome en 1937. Il obtient une médaille d'argent à l'Exposition internationale de 1937, et un prix à l'exposition internationale de médailles à Madrid en 1951.

Notons un homonyme, Jean Revol qui est un peintre, graveur, essayiste et écrivain français né à Lyon le 4 mars 1929, et mort le 2 janvier 2012 (à 82 ans) à Troyes..
Medal signed “REVOL 86”. Note the similarities with the 10 franc commemorative coin of G. BALDATI. Guy-Charles Revol, born in Paris on October 9, 1912, died in 1991, was a French sculptor, engraver and medalist. He received the second prize of Rome in 1937. He won a silver medal at the International Exhibition of 1937, and a prize at the International Exhibition of Medals in Madrid in 1951. Note a namesake, Jean Revol who was a French painter, engraver, essayist and writer born in Lyon on March 4, 1929, and died on January 2, 2012 (at the age of 82) in Troyes.
