Exemplaire sur un flan irrégulier, légèrement échancré à 12 heures, un peu court sur la légende de droit. Belle tête de Commode jeune. Revers bien venu à la frappe. Patine de collection ancienne avec des reflets dorés

Poids léger. Seulement deux exemplaires recensés. De la plus grande rareté. Le pan de paludamentum est visible de chaque côté du cou.

Commodus succeeded his father Marc Aurèle, who died in Vienna on March 17, 180. He hastened to conclude a truce with the Germanic tribes and then abandoned public life.
