Exemplaire de qualité exceptionnelle pour ce type de monnayage sur un flannlarge, parfaitement centré des deux côtés. Portrait de toute beauté. Revers de style fin, bien venu à la frappe. COnserve l’intégralité de son brillant de frappe et de son coupant d’origine

Комментарий

Rubans bouletés de type 3 aux extrémités bouletées. Magnifique fibule d’attache. Style du portrait inhabituel. D’après Philip Grierson, ce type est frappé entre 646 et 648 et comporte bien un point en fin de légende de revers. Début de cassure de coin perceptible au revers dans le champ. Semble beaucoup plus rare que ne le laissent supposer les ouvrages généraux.
Type 3 ball-ended ribbons. Magnificent attachment fibula. Unusual portrait style. According to Philip Grierson, this type was struck between 646 and 648 and does indeed have a dot at the end of the reverse legend. The beginning of a die break is visible on the reverse in the field. Appears much rarer than general works suggest.
