Pour cette médaille, Hénin ne distinguait pas moins de cinq modèles différents avec des diamètres variant de 32 à 41 millimètres de diamètre. Les détails de l'iconographie de cette médaille sont fascinants. Le manteau de la France est fleurdelisé ; au-dessus de la France, la Vérité ou la Renommée ouvre le ciel qui éclaire la cérémonie et laisse entrevoir le lion du signe du zodiaque qui débute le 22 juillet. Une population importante assiste à la cérémonie. C'est l'École Militaire dont on aperçoit le dôme dans le champ à gauche. La Fête de la Fédération qui commémore le premier anniversaire de la prise de la Bastille eut un retentissement considérable. Il marquait l'union de la Royauté et de la Nation. La cérémonie religieuse fut dirigée par Talleyrand, alors évêque.
For this medal, Hénin distinguished no fewer than five different models with diameters varying from 32 to 41 millimeters in diameter. The details of the iconography of this medal are fascinating. The coat of arms of France is decorated with fleur-de-lis; above France, Truth or Fame opens the sky, which illuminates the ceremony and reveals the lion of the zodiac sign that begins on July 22. A large population attends the ceremony. It is the Military School whose dome can be seen in the left field. The Fête de la Fédération, which commemorates the first anniversary of the storming of the Bastille, had a considerable impact. It marked the union of Royalty and the Nation. The religious ceremony was led by Talleyrand, then bishop.
