Épaulière cloutée. Ptéryges larges Au revers, les lettres dans le champ C|R pourraient être les initiales de “Claritas Reipublicæ” pour l’éclat de la République. Même coin de revers que l’exemplaire de l’Ashmolean Museum d’Oxford (B. 71d, pl. V). C’est le huitième exemplaire recensé. Prendra le n° 71e dans le Supplément III du Bastien.
With all of its surface silvering. On the obverse, the legend is in the dative (dedicatory) case. Type 3 ribbons with rounded ends. Smooth cuirass with a pointed central fleuron. Studded shoulder guard. Large pteryges. On the reverse, the letters in the C|R field could be the initials of “Claritas Reipublicæ” for the brilliance of the Republic.
