Buste 582M de la classification Guéant/Prieur et daté de manière incertaine vers 1747. Semble complètement inédit et non répertorié. La légende de revers vient compléter la lecture de Feuardent où le G pour (Général) n’était pas signalé et représentée au revers d’un jeton daté de 1743.
Feuardent sous les numéros 2851-2852 notait : “Déjà, sous saint Louis, cette table de marbre noir recevait les redevances en nature. Elle servait aux grands festins royaux où n’étaient admis que les empereurs, les rois et les princes du sang, les pairs de France et leurs femmes. Elle fut détruite en 1618 dans un incendie. On n’avait jamais vu une tranche de marbre aussi large et aussi épaisse ; elle occupait presque toute la largeur de la grande salle du palais”. Les deux seuls jetons signalés par Feuardent (F.2851-2852 = Feuardent vente n° 448) sont en argent et en cuivre, datés de 1743 avec un description de notre revers au droit et une légende “AMNES SILVASQUE TUETUR” et la Justice debout dans un paysage. À droite et à gauche, scènes de chasse et de pêche. Serait-il possible que notre jeton sans date ait été frappé à la même occasion avec l’un des nombreux portraits de Louis XV gravé par François Marteau.
Bust 582M of the Guéant/Prieur classification and uncertainly dated around 1747. Appears to be completely unpublished and unlisted. The reverse legend completes the reading of Feuardent where the G for (General) was not indicated and represented on the reverse of a token dated 1743.

The only two tokens reported by Feuardent (F. 2851-2852 = Feuardent sale no. 448) are in silver and copper, dated 1743 with a description of our reverse on the obverse and a legend “AMNES SILVASQUE TUETUR” and Justice standing in a landscape.
