Exemplaire sur un petit flan ovale bien centré des deux côtés. Beau buste du roi. Revers de style fin. Patine verte

Représentation inhabituelle du roi. Ce type semble plus rare que ne le laissent supposer les ouvrages généraux. C’est la première fois que nous proposons un exemplaire à la vente.

This small kingdom, located between Babylonia and Persis in the region of Susa. He managed to maintain his independence from his powerful Arsacid neighbors. Phraates is the son of Orodes I and the brother of Orodes II who succeeds him.
