Eudes (860-898) is the first Robertian king, son of Robert the Strong (+866), marquis of Neustria. Eudes, Count of Paris from 882, heroically defended the city against the Normans during the siege around 885-887. Elected and crowned in 888, he was crowned at Compiègne.
